Project Curson
Modern Mediterranean Masterpiece in the Coveted Wilshire Vista Neigborhood
Project Curson, a 1931 Spanish home that underwent a remarkable full interior and exterior gut remodel. This project was a labor of love, where every room was carefully reshaped to create intentional and well-thought-out spaces, while preserving the incredible bones of the original structure. The charm of this Spanish home provided the perfect canvas for capturing a new Mediterranean vibe. With playful tiles, vibrant colors, stunning wood work, and elegant design choices, the space was transformed into a captivating and lively oasis. Opening up the kitchen area was a game-changer, creating a spacious hub for entertaining and cooking. Simple exterior updates can be transformative. In the case of Project Curson, updating the paint colors, adding decorative tile, black vinyl windows, new iron gatework, and fresh landscaping breathed new life into the entire property. To this day, Project Curson remains one of my favorite projects, a testament to the power of thoughtful remodeling. It's a celebration of the fusion of old and new, of preserving history while embracing the now.
