The Naylor Project

Craftsman Charm Meets Modern Elegance: The Naylor Project Transformation.

In my latest renovation venture, I had the privilege of bringing new life to a 1944 Craftsman-style house, lovingly dubbed "The Naylor Project." This sweet little gem needed a makeover to infuse it with character, charm, and modern design elements. The Naylor Project began with a bold move – breaking down walls to create larger living spaces. This not only improved the functionality of the home but also flooded it with natural light, making it feel more inviting. The exterior of the house was in dire need of a facelift. To enhance its curb appeal, I introduced timeless elements like board and batten siding. This classic touch added depth and texture, instantly elevating the house's appearance, a carefully selected paint palette, and the addition of sleek black vinyl windows. These contemporary windows not only look fantastic but also blend seamlessly with the Craftsman style, proving that the old and the new can coexist beautifully.
